- Description
-
"Loadout" is a player's selected set of weapons, attachments, equipment, or other combat gear prepared for a match. It is especially common in multiplayer and tactical-shooter communities, where players compare configurations before entering a round. The term is casual gaming jargon and usually focuses on the practical contents of the setup rather than the character using it. Discussions of a loadout often imply strategy, customization, and trade-offs between different pieces of equipment.
- Example
-
— Why did you bring three rifles to the match? — It’s my new loadout. — You’re carrying more guns than snacks. — Exactly: balanced nutrition.
The soldier’s loadout was so carefully optimized that it contained six scopes, two backup scopes, and absolutely no ammunition for any of them.
New guns are expensive, but they are also very confusing and inconsistent, as for the mp5 and mp5ssd, you can make them with the other one, for the mp5, if you buy the right attachments, you can make a 1:1 copy of the mp5ssd but just without the icon in the loadout, and vice versa, what is the point of making them 2 separate weapons, with different prices might I add, nor discounted prices if you already have the other, its the same for m4 and m16a2.
